As AXA Equitable's Chief Privacy Officer, Joel oversees the collection, use and sharing of the firm's confidential information by both its employees and third party service providers. Working within AXA Equitable's Operational Risk Management division, Joel has helped initiate the firms' Information Security, AML, Records Management, Sarbanes-Oxley, Solvency II and Operational Risk assessment functions. AXA Equitable is part of AXA Group, one of the world's largest financial services companies, so the firm's privacy efforts address international privacy and U.S. legislative directives. Joel previously developed global risk management programs with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Joel is a licensed Professional Engineer and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
