Ina Kamenz is Vice President and CIO for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. Previously, she served as VP and CIO for Tyco Corporate and Tyco Fire & Security, providing leadership to the company's CIO Council and driving IT strategy, implementation and execution for the global Fire & Security business. She worked closely with executive leadership in all businesses to appropriately integrate information that accelerated customer satisfaction, sales growth and productivity initiatives. Prior to joining Tyco, Ina was the Senior Vice President and CIO of the Marriott International Senior Living Services division. As CIO, she had accountability for the strategic direction and technical delivery of systems and technology products and services in support of the four brands in 150 senior living residential facilities. Prior to her position with Senior Living Services, she was the Vice President, Office of the CIO, of Marriott International Information Resources. Ina has provided consulting expertise to Fortune 500 companies and major government organizations, published several articles and is a frequent speaker at technology conferences on program management and systems and technology strategy and implementation. She holds a bachelor of science in mathematics and biology from Wake Forest University and a master's in business administration from Queens College. She has also participated in the Executive Development Program at the Colgate Darden School of Business, at the University of Virginia.
