In celebration of CIO Magazine's 20th anniversary this year, we are asking you to help us find 20 men and women to honor by inducting them into the CIO Hall of Fame. These should be current or former CIOs who have materially, profoundly and positively affected the practice and discipline of information technology over the past 20 years. The 20 new Hall of Fame inductees will be featured in the special October 1, 2007 anniversary issue of CIO Magazine.

How We Use Your Information

The information you provide about your Hall of Fame nominee will be used internally by CIO for purposes of judging the awards and may be used in articles (both in print and online) or other publicity relating to the Hall of Fame. Contact information may be used to market CIO content and programs.

1. Accomplishments of the Nominee

Describe one or more significant accomplishments of the nominee.
For example: Did he/she invent or perfect a new IT technology or process? Did he/she mentor many future CIOs? Did he/she run a broadly influential IT organization or a number of transformational projects? Be as specific as possible. Try to limit yourself to 600 words. *

2. Significance of Accomplishment

Explain why the nominee deserves to be honored in the Hall of Fame.
For example: Is the process or technology he/she invented widely used today, or did it establish a new standard? Did the nominee influence many people's careers?
